The challenge

Halo Solutions specialises in event safety and venue management for public events across the UK. Atomic was approached to create a bespoke event management system that would be used by event managers, safety officers, security firms and local authorities. Its purpose would be to streamline communications across the event safety teams, allowing them to seamlessly raise and log critical incidents using a mobile app, which would be reported on a live website dashboard.

The solution

Atomic built a bespoke multi-platform system comprising a native mobile app for iOS & Android, along with a web-based Admin portal and Command Center Dashboard. The system revolutionised the way event safety is managed at public events, overcoming communication and reporting challenges typical with large-scale events by enabling app users out in the field to seamlessly report, collaborate and resolve issues as they happened.

The outcome

Following its launch, HALO was quick to make waves across the industry, being adopted by a range of public and private sector event organisations including the Royal Navy, International Cricket Council and the Notting Hill Carnival. Further success soon followed when HALO was a triple winner at the UK App Awards - including the award for Best UK App.

Eyes and ears everywhere

HALO allows staff to log and report incidents as they occur. These are tracked through GPS and immediately fed to the command centre dashboard where appropriate action is taken.

A fully customisable system

Key features can be toggled on or off through the admin system, enabling Halo customers to quickly tailor the system to their needs.

Transparent, live data tracking

All data captured by HALO is tracked in real-time with incident information and messages time-stamped and securely stored in activity logs. Post-event reports can be quickly generated directly within the dashboard - a process that without HALO would take several weeks to complete.
